Mother's Kiss

About Me

I am a International Board certified Lactation Consultant IBCLC with over 10 years in supporting families to meet their infant feeding goals. I have both experience on a busy London maternity unit as well as community based experience within a busy health visiting team and have a depth of experience supporting new families through phases and stages of feeding.

Becoming a parent is one of the most wonderful adventures that you will ever undertake. But it can also a time of challenge and personal growth.

I have extensive experience in supporting families as they grow and enabling this to be a positive experience for all the family.

Whatever your experiences so far, I can offer support and evidence based information to aid your confidence in your choices as a parent.

Some common themes I am confident supporting are:

  • Challenges with positioning and attachment – poor latch or breast refusal

  • Current lack of professional support to enable a good start to breastfeeding

  • Sore nipples

  • Breastfeeding during the early weeks: baby weight loss; slow weight gain

  • Insufficient milk supply or ‘oversupply’

  • Mastitis

  • Thrush

  • Baby fussing at the breast

  • Tongue-tie diagnosis

  • Reflux

  • Allergies including cow’s milk protein allergy

  • Expressing or being away from baby

  • Weight reviews and support around slow weight gain

  • Breastfeeding Multiples

  • Safe Sleep

  • Co-nursing or Chest Feeding

  • Sore or Damaged Nipples

  • Flat Nipples

  • Breast Reduction

  • Breast Enlargement

I have extensive training and experience in the detection, referral and aftercare of babies with tongue tie.

I have my own insurance and carry an up to date enhanced DBS.

My mission is to empower you to reach your infant feeding goals and breastfeed and/or express for your baby for as long as you want to, with confidence and ease. All services are tailored to meet the individual needs of the families I work with.

Over many years I have supported thousands of families to meet their breastfeeding goals and feel it is a real privilege to be a part of each journey.
